Not only do the schools that top this list have excellent environmental engineering programs, but they also offer a lot of support to veterans and active service members.

Top 12 Best Environmental Engineering Bachelor’s Degree Colleges for Veterans in the Far Western US Region
Out of the 12 schools in the Most Veteran Friendly in the Far Western US Region for Environmental Engineering for a Bachelor’s that were part of this year’s ranking, University of Southern California landed the #1 spot on the list. Los Angeles, California is the setting for this large institution of higher learning. The private not-for-profit school handed out bachelors’s environmental engineering degrees to 13 students in 2020-2021.
USC also made our “Best Environmental Engineering Bachelor’s Degree Schools in the Far Western US Region” list, coming in at #1.Of the 46,287 students enrolled at University of Southern California, 1,311 were GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data. Out of that number, 862 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average Post-9/11 GI Bill® award for tuition and fees at the school was $20,487. With a freshman retention rate of 91%, the school does an excellent job of retaining its undergraduate students. The school has an impressive undergrad student loan default rate. Located in San Diego, California, this large public school awarded 29 degrees to qualified bachelors’s environmental engineering students in 2020-2021.
