When pursuing a degree in today’s world, veterans have many different options to choose from. Our mission at College Factual is to arm you with as much information as we can to help you make that decision. Our “Most Veteran Friendly in the Great Lakes Region for Engineering for a Master’s” ranking is one tool we have developed to help in this regard.

Out of the 14 schools in the Most Veteran Friendly in the Great Lakes Region for Engineering for a Master’s that were part of this year’s ranking, University of Wisconsin - Madison landed the #1 spot on the list. University of Wisconsin - Madison is a large public school situated in Madison, Wisconsin. It awarded 55 masters’s engineering degrees in 2020-2021.

As a testament to the quality of education offered at Case Western, the school also landed the #3 spot in our “Best General Engineering Master’s Degree Schools in the Great Lakes Region” ranking.According to our most recent data, Case Western Reserve University supports 11,465 students, and 109 of those are GI Bill® students, of which 69 are Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. Located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, this small private not-for-profit school awarded 7 diplomas to qualified masters’s engineering students in 2020-2021.
In addition to being on our great lakes region master’s degree vets studying engineering list, MSOE has also earned the #7 rank in our “Best General Engineering Master’s Degree Schools in the Great Lakes Region” ranking.Of the 2,673 students enrolled at Milwaukee School of Engineering, 108 were GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data.
