In 2020-2021, 9,018 people earned their degree in general engineering, making the major the 96th most popular in the United States.

Across the Southeast region, there were 1,996 general engineering graduates with average earnings and debt of $0 and $0 respectively.

For this year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in the Southeast Region for Engineering” ranking, we looked at 37 colleges that offer a degree in general engineering. The schools that top this list are recognized because they have great general engineering programs and a strong support system for veterans and active service members.
