Industrial Engineering is the 87th most popular major in the country with 9,072 degrees awarded in 2020-2021. In 2019-2020, industrial engineering graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $68,960 and had an average of $24,268 in loans still to pay off.
Across the Southwest region, there were 1,352 industrial engineering graduates with average earnings and debt of $67,181 and $23,338 respectively. The school came in at #1 for the Most Veteran Friendly in the Southwest Region for IE for a Bachelor’s. Texas A&M College Station is a public institution located in College Station, Texas. The school has a large population, and it awarded 217 bachelors’s degrees in 2020-2021.

Located in Tempe, Arizona, this large public school awarded 95 degrees to qualified bachelors’s IE students in 2020-2021.
ASU - Tempe not only placed well in this ranking. It is also #2 on our “Best Industrial Engineering Bachelor’s Degree Schools in the Southwest Region” list.According to our most recent data, Arizona State University - Tempe supports 74,795 students, and 7,566 of those are GI Bill® students, of which 3,828 are Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients.
