UC Berkeley also made our Best Colleges for Mechanical Engineering in the Far Western US Region list, coming in at #2.

Located in the small suburb of San Luis Obispo, Cal Poly San Luis Obispo is a public college with a very large student population. Cal Poly San Luis Obispo also took the #5 spot in our Best Colleges for Mechanical Engineering in the Far Western US Region rankings.
