Best Mechanical Engineering Schools for Non-Traditional Students
Washington State University has taken the #1 spot in this year's mechanical engineering ranking for non-traditional students. Located in the distant town of Pullman, Wazzu is a public college with a very large student population. Wazzu did well in our major quality rankings, too. It placed #2 on our Best Colleges for Mechanical Engineering in Washington list.
The student loan default rate at Wazzu is lower than is typical, just 1.4% of students default in three years. 4,690 of Wazzu students are exclusively distance learners. There are roughly 4,985 part time students in attendance at Wazzu.
University of Washington - Seattle Campus earned the #2 spot in our 2021 rankings. UW Seattle is a very large public school located in the large city of Seattle. UW Seattle also took the #1 spot in our Best Colleges for Mechanical Engineering in Washington rankings.
