University of Kentucky tops the 2021 list of our schools in Kentucky that are best for non-traditional mechanical engineering students. Located in the city of Lexington, UK is a public college with a very large student population. UK did well in our major quality rankings, too. It placed #1 on our Best Colleges for Mechanical Engineering in Kentucky list.
The school has a low student loan default rate of 1.6%. There are approximately 8,399 students at UK that take at least one class online. About 4,117 of the students at UK are attending part time.
Our rankings recognize University of Louisville as the #2 school in this year's rankings. Located in the large city of Louisville, UofL is a public college with a fairly large student population. UofL did well in our major quality rankings, too. It placed #2 on our Best Colleges for Mechanical Engineering in Kentucky list.
