You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend Boise State University. It ranked #1 on our 2023 Most Veteran Friendly in Idaho for ME for a Master’s list. This large school is located in Boise, Idaho, and it awarded 10 masters’s ME degrees in 2020-2021.
Boise State also took the #2 spot in our “Best Mechanical Engineering Master’s Degree Schools in Idaho” ranking.Our most recent data shows that 1,134 of the 24,069 students enrolled at Boise State were GI Bill® students, of which 798 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average Post-9/11 GI Bill® award for tuition and fees at the school was $6,559. On top of their other funding sources, 0 students received scholarships through the Yellow Ribbon Program. Students may be able to receive credit for their military training, depending on their background.

U of I is located in Moscow, Idaho and, has a fairly large student population. In 2020-2021, this school awarded 19 masters’s ME degrees to qualified students.
U of I also made our “Best Mechanical Engineering Master’s Degree Schools in Idaho” list, coming in at #1.Our most recent data shows that 382 of the 10,791 students enrolled at U of I were GI Bill® students, of which 248 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average Post-9/11 GI Bill® award for tuition and fees at the school was $6,784. To help with additional expenses, 29 students received scholarships through the Yellow Ribbon Program. U of I does offer credit for military training for eligible students.
