You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend The University of Texas at El Paso. It ranked #2 on our 2023 Most Veteran Friendly in the Southwest Region for General Metallurgical Engineering for a Bachelor’s list. This large school is located in El Paso, Texas, and it awarded 23 bachelors’s general metallurgical engineering degrees in 2020-2021.
UTEP not only placed well in this ranking. It is also #2 on our “Best General Metallurgical Engineering Bachelor’s Degree Schools in the Southwest Region” list.Among the 24,879 students enrolled at The University of Texas at El Paso, 1,873 are GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data. Out of that number, 942 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average tuition and fees award for the Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients was $5,990. In addition to receiving other benefits, 2 students received scholarships through the Yellow Ribbon Program. The University of Texas at El Paso does offer credit for military training for eligible students.
