You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend Carnegie Mellon University. It ranked #1 on our 2023 Most Veteran Friendly in Pennsylvania for Other Engineering list. Carnegie Mellon is a fairly large school located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania that handed out 37 ’s other engineering degrees in 2020-2021.
Carnegie Mellon also made our “[COLLEGE_QUALITY_NAME_ALL_LEVELS]” list, coming in at #[COLLEGE_QUALITY_RANK_ALL_LEVELS].Our most recent data shows that 117 of the 13,519 students enrolled at Carnegie Mellon were GI Bill® students, of which 72 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average Post-9/11 GI Bill® award for tuition and fees at the school was $18,422. During this same period, 36 students qualified for the Yellow Ribbon Program.

UPenn is located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and, has a large student population. In 2020-2021, this school awarded 16 ’s other engineering degrees to qualified students.
As a testament to the quality of education offered at UPenn, the school also landed the #[COLLEGE_QUALITY_RANK_ALL_LEVELS] spot in our “[COLLEGE_QUALITY_NAME_ALL_LEVELS]” ranking.Among the 26,552 students enrolled at UPenn, 324 are GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data. Out of that number, 131 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average tuition and fees award for the Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients was $19,383. On top of their other funding sources, 78 students qualified for the Yellow Ribbon Program.

Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania is the setting for this large institution of higher learning. The public school handed out ’s other engineering degrees to 26 students in 2020-2021.
Pitt also took the #[COLLEGE_QUALITY_RANK_ALL_LEVELS] spot in our “[COLLEGE_QUALITY_NAME_ALL_LEVELS]” ranking.Our most recent data shows that 509 of the 32,277 students enrolled at University of Pittsburgh - Pittsburgh Campus were GI Bill® students, of which 364 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average Post-9/11 GI Bill® award for tuition and fees at the school was $16,281. In addition to receiving other benefits, 0 students received scholarships through the Yellow Ribbon Program. Eligible students may be able to receive credit for their military training.

YCP is a private not-for-profit institution located in York, Pennsylvania. The school has a small population, and it awarded 7 ’s degrees in 2020-2021.
In addition to being on our pennsylvania vets studying other engineering list, YCP has also earned the #[COLLEGE_QUALITY_RANK_ALL_LEVELS] rank in our “[COLLEGE_QUALITY_NAME_ALL_LEVELS]” ranking.Our most recent data shows that 135 of the 4,039 students enrolled at YCP were GI Bill® students, of which 91 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average tuition and fees award for the Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients was $14,343. On top of their other funding sources, 5 students received funds through the Yellow Ribbon Program. YCP offers credit for military training for eligible students.
