You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend University of Wyoming. It ranked #1 on our 2023 Most Veteran Friendly in Wyoming for Petroleum Engineering for a Bachelor’s list. UW is a fairly large school located in Laramie, Wyoming that handed out 30 bachelors’s petroleum engineering degrees in 2020-2021.
As a testament to the quality of education offered at UW, the school also landed the #1 spot in our “Best Petroleum Engineering Bachelor’s Degree Schools in Wyoming” ranking.Our most recent data shows that 473 of the 11,829 students enrolled at UW were GI Bill® students, of which 255 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average Post-9/11 GI Bill® award for tuition and fees at the school was $3,738. To help with additional expenses, 13 students received funds through the Yellow Ribbon Program.
