Michigan Technological University tops the 2021 list of our schools in Michigan that are best for non-traditional engineering students. Michigan Tech is a moderately-sized public school located in the town of Houghton. Michigan Tech did well in our major quality rankings, too. It placed #1 on our Best Colleges for Engineering in Michigan list.

University of Michigan - Ann Arbor comes in at #2 in this year's ranking. Located in the city of Ann Arbor, U-M is a public school with a fairly large student population. As a testament to the quality of education offered at U-M, the school also landed the #2 rank in our Best Colleges for Engineering in Michigan ranking.
