Rice University came in at #9 in this year’s edition of the Most Veteran Friendly in Texas for English for a Doctorate ranking. Houston, Texas is the setting for this medium-sized institution of higher learning. The private not-for-profit school handed out doctorate’s English degrees to 7 students in 2020-2021.
As a testament to the quality of education offered at Rice, the school also landed the #1 spot in our “Best General English Literature Doctor’s Degree Schools in Texas” ranking.According to our most recent data, Rice supports 7,643 students, and 157 of those are GI Bill® students, of which 80 are Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average Post-9/11 GI Bill® award for tuition and fees at the school was $18,656. During this same period, 68 students received scholarships through the Yellow Ribbon Program.
