Our “Most Veteran Friendly in Georgia for English” ranking is one tool we have developed to help in this regard.
In 2020-2021, 40,481 people earned their degree in general English literature, making the major the 24th most popular in the United States. In 2019-2020, general English literature graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $29,881 and had an average of $23,769 in loans still to pay off.
Across Georgia, there were 880 general English literature graduates with average earnings and debt of $29,430 and $26,586 respectively.
For this year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in Georgia for English” ranking, we looked at 16 colleges that offer a degree in general English literature. The schools that top this list are recognized because they have great general English literature programs and a strong support system for veterans and active service members.

You’ll join some of the best and brightest minds around if you attend Georgia State University. The school came in at #1 for the Most Veteran Friendly in Georgia for English. Located in Atlanta, Georgia, this large public school handed out 127 degrees to qualified ’s English students in 2020-2021.

As a testament to the quality of education offered at UGA, the school also landed the #[COLLEGE_QUALITY_RANK_ALL_LEVELS] spot in our “[COLLEGE_QUALITY_NAME_ALL_LEVELS]” ranking.Among the 39,147 students enrolled at University of Georgia, 9 are GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data. Carrollton, Georgia is the setting for this fairly large institution of higher learning. The public school handed out ’s English degrees to 39 students in 2020-2021.
