General English Literature is the 24th most popular major in the country with 40,481 degrees awarded in 2020-2021. In 2019-2020, general English literature graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $29,881 and had an average of $23,769 in loans still to pay off.

You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend University of Missouri - Columbia. It ranked #1 on our 2023 Most Veteran Friendly in Missouri for English list. Mizzou is located in Columbia, Missouri and, has a large student population. In 2020-2021, this school awarded 82 ’s English degrees to qualified students.

University of Missouri - St Louis ranked #6 on this year’s Most Veteran Friendly in Missouri for English list. UMSL is a fairly large school located in Saint Louis, Missouri that handed out 46 ’s English degrees in 2020-2021.
UMSL did well in our major quality rankings, too.
