Our “Most Veteran Friendly for General Literature” ranking is part of that endeavor.

General Literature is the 735th most popular major in the country with 263 degrees awarded in 2020-2021.

For this year’s “Most Veteran Friendly for General Literature” ranking, we looked at 15 colleges that offer a degree in general literature. The schools that top this list are recognized because they have great general literature programs and a strong support system for veterans and active service members.

To come up with these rankings, we looked at factors such as veteran satisfaction, veteran affordability, and overall quality of the general literature program at the school. See our ranking methodology to learn more.

This fairly large school is located in Washington, District of Columbia, and it awarded 23 ’s general literature degrees in 2020-2021.

The American University also took the #[COLLEGE_QUALITY_RANK_ALL_LEVELS] spot in our “[COLLEGE_QUALITY_NAME_ALL_LEVELS]” ranking.Among the 14,001 students enrolled at American University, 613 are GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data. Out of that number, 388 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average Post-9/11 GI Bill® award for tuition and fees at the school was $16,027. The New School is a fairly large private not-for-profit school situated in New York, New York. It awarded 50 ’s general literature degrees in 2020-2021.

New School University did well in our major quality rankings, too. York, Pennsylvania is the setting for this small institution of higher learning. The private not-for-profit school handed out ’s general literature degrees to 1 students in 2020-2021.
