In 2020-2021, 2,102 people earned their degree in general apparel and textiles, making the major the 279th most popular in the United States.

Across the Southeast region, there were 754 general apparel and textiles graduates with average earnings and debt of $0 and $0 respectively. At the bachelor’s degree level specifically, there were 730 general apparel and textiles graduates with average earnings and debt of $37,400 and $27,180 respectively.

This year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in the Southeast Region for Apparel and Textiles for a Bachelor’s” ranking looked at 14 colleges that offer degrees in a bachelor’s in general apparel and textiles. This ranking identifies schools with high-quality general apparel and textiles programs as well as strong veteran support.
