You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend New York University. It ranked #1 on our 2023 Most Veteran Friendly in the Middle Atlantic Region for Food & Nutrition for a Master’s list. New York University is a private not-for-profit institution located in New York, New York. The school has a large population, and it awarded 38 masters’s degrees in 2020-2021.
NYU not only placed well in this ranking. It is also #1 on our “Best Food & Nutrition Master’s Degree Schools in the Middle Atlantic Region” list.Of the 52,775 students enrolled at NYU, 1 were GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data. You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend American University. It ranked #2 on our 2023 Most Veteran Friendly in the Middle Atlantic Region for Food & Nutrition for a Master’s list. Washington, District of Columbia is the setting for this fairly large institution of higher learning. The private not-for-profit school handed out masters’s food and nutrition degrees to 55 students in 2020-2021.
The American University also made our “Best Food & Nutrition Master’s Degree Schools in the Middle Atlantic Region” list, coming in at #2.Of the 14,001 students enrolled at American University, 613 were GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data. Out of that number, 388 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average Post-9/11 GI Bill® award for tuition and fees at the school was $16,027. On top of their other funding sources, 206 students received scholarships through the Yellow Ribbon Program.
The low undergrad student loan default rate of [DEFAULT_RATE_STRING]% is a good sign that students have an easier time paying off their loans than they might at other schools. For comparison, the national default rate is 10.1%. With a freshman retention rate of 85%, the school does an excellent job of retaining its undergraduate students.
