In 2019-2020, food, nutrition and related services graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $34,748 and had an average of $24,931 in loans still to pay off.

Across the Southeast region, there were 1,098 food, nutrition and related services graduates with average earnings and debt of $31,886 and $25,547 respectively. At the bachelor’s degree level specifically, there were 847 food, nutrition and related services graduates with average earnings and debt of $37,400 and $27,180 respectively.

Not only do the schools that top this list have excellent food, nutrition and related services programs, but they also offer a lot of support to veterans and active service members.

UA also took the #2 spot in our “Best Food, Nutrition & Related Services Bachelor’s Degree Schools in the Southeast Region” ranking.Our most recent data shows that 2,081 of the 37,840 students enrolled at The University of Alabama were GI Bill® students, of which 1,128 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. Located in Charlotte, North Carolina, this small private not-for-profit school handed out 73 degrees to qualified bachelors’s nutrition students in 2020-2021.

JWU Charlotte did well in our major quality rankings, too.
