Out of the 2 schools in the Most Veteran Friendly in the Southwest Region for Child Development for a Bachelor’s that were part of this year’s ranking, Texas Tech University landed the #1 spot on the list. Texas Tech is a large school located in Lubbock, Texas that handed out 21 bachelors’s child development degrees in 2020-2021.

You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend Texas Woman’s University. It ranked #2 on our 2023 Most Veteran Friendly in the Southwest Region for Child Development for a Bachelor’s list. Texas Woman’s University is a fairly large school located in Denton, Texas that handed out 98 bachelors’s child development degrees in 2020-2021.

In addition to being on our southwest region bachelor’s degree vets studying child development list, TWU has also earned the #2 rank in our “Best Child Development Bachelor’s Degree Schools in the Southwest Region” ranking.Among the 16,433 students enrolled at Texas Woman’s University, 495 are GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data.
