In 2020-2021, 9,790 people earned their degree in radiologic technology, making the major the 99th most popular in the United States.

For this year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in the Far Western US Region for Radiography” ranking, we looked at 28 colleges that offer a degree in radiologic technology. The schools that top this list are recognized because they have great radiologic technology programs and a strong support system for veterans and active service members.

Out of the 28 schools in the Most Veteran Friendly in the Far Western US Region for Radiography that were part of this year’s ranking, University of Alaska Anchorage landed the #1 spot on the list. Anchorage, Alaska is the setting for this fairly large institution of higher learning. The public school handed out ’s radiography degrees to 19 students in 2020-2021.
UAA did well in our major quality rankings, too.
