In 2020-2021, 26,399 people earned their degree in dental support services, making the major the 82nd most popular in the United States. In 2019-2020, dental support services graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $35,442 and had an average of $15,159 in loans still to pay off.
Across the Great Lakes region, there were 3,167 dental support services graduates with average earnings and debt of $33,806 and $14,881 respectively. At the bachelor’s degree level specifically, there were 335 dental support services graduates with average earnings and debt of $40,343 and $26,790 respectively.

University of Michigan - Ann Arbor is a large public school situated in Ann Arbor, Michigan. It awarded 48 bachelors’s dental support degrees in 2020-2021.

Detroit, Michigan is the setting for this medium-sized institution of higher learning. The private not-for-profit school handed out bachelors’s dental support degrees to 26 students in 2020-2021.
Detroit Mercy not only placed well in this ranking. It is also #7 on our “Best Dental Support Services Bachelor’s Degree Schools in the Great Lakes Region” list.Among the 4,987 students enrolled at Detroit Mercy, 66 are GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data.
