In 2020-2021, 6,158 people earned their degree in dietetics and clinical nutrition services, making the major the 128th most popular in the United States. In 2019-2020, dietetics and clinical nutrition services graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $37,641 and had an average of $27,579 in loans still to pay off.
Across the Southeast region, there were 1,300 dietetics and clinical nutrition services graduates with average earnings and debt of $39,268 and $26,613 respectively.
This year’s “Best Value Nutrition Schools in the Southeast Region For Those Getting Aid” ranking analyzed 28 colleges that offered a degree in dietetics and clinical nutrition services. This ranking identifies schools with high-quality dietetics and clinical nutrition services programs that also have a lower cost than schools of similar quality.
