It’s not easy to decide which college to attend when there so many options available for veterans. In 2020-2021, 6,158 people earned their degree in dietetics and clinical nutrition services, making the major the 128th most popular in the United States. In 2019-2020, dietetics and clinical nutrition services graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $37,641 and had an average of $27,579 in loans still to pay off.
At the associate degree level specifically, there were 324 dietetics and clinical nutrition services graduates with average earnings and debt of $35,806 and $19,336 respectively.
For this year’s “Most Veteran Friendly for Nutrition for an Associate” ranking, we looked at 34 colleges that offer a degree in dietetics and clinical nutrition services. This ranking identifies schools with high-quality dietetics and clinical nutrition services programs as well as strong veteran support.
