In 2020-2021, 6,158 people earned their degree in dietetics and clinical nutrition services, making the major the 128th most popular in the United States. In 2019-2020, dietetics and clinical nutrition services graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $37,641 and had an average of $27,579 in loans still to pay off.

Across the Southeast region, there were 1,300 dietetics and clinical nutrition services graduates with average earnings and debt of $39,268 and $26,613 respectively.

This year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in the Southeast Region for Nutrition” ranking looked at 28 colleges that offer degrees in a bachelor’s in dietetics and clinical nutrition services. Not only do the schools that top this list have excellent dietetics and clinical nutrition services programs, but they also offer a lot of support to veterans and active service members.

When determining these rankings, we looked at things such as overall quality of the dietetics and clinical nutrition services program at the school, veteran affordability, and veteran satisfaction. For more information, check out our ranking methodology.
