In 2020-2021, 9,210 people earned their degree in health/medical prep programs, making the major the 104th most popular in the United States. In 2019-2020, health/medical prep programs graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $28,184 and had an average of $21,459 in loans still to pay off.
Across the Southeast region, there were 2,479 health/medical prep programs graduates with average earnings and debt of $31,182 and $18,481 respectively.
This year’s “Best Value Medical Prep Schools in the Southeast Region For Those Making $0-$30k” ranking analyzed 54 colleges that offered a degree in health/medical prep programs. Not only do the schools that top this list have excellent health/medical prep programs programs, but they also cost less that schools of similar quality.
