Top 2 Best Health/Medical Prep Programs Bachelor’s Degree Colleges for Veterans in Oklahoma
You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend University of Central Oklahoma. It ranked #1 on our 2023 Most Veteran Friendly in Oklahoma for Medical Prep for a Bachelor’s list. Located in Edmond, Oklahoma, this fairly large public school awarded 14 degrees to qualified bachelors’s medical prep students in 2020-2021.
As a testament to the quality of education offered at UCO, the school also landed the #2 spot in our “Best Health/Medical Prep Programs Bachelor’s Degree Schools in Oklahoma” ranking.Our most recent data shows that 934 of the 14,132 students enrolled at University of Central Oklahoma were GI Bill® students, of which 428 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average tuition and fees award for the Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients was $6,062. During this same period, 0 students received funds through the Yellow Ribbon Program. Located in Bethany, Oklahoma, this small private not-for-profit school awarded 10 diplomas to qualified bachelors’s medical prep students in 2020-2021.
SNU also took the #1 spot in our “Best Health/Medical Prep Programs Bachelor’s Degree Schools in Oklahoma” ranking.Of the 2,208 students enrolled at Southern Nazarene University, 311 were GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data. Out of that number, 209 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average Post-9/11 GI Bill® award for tuition and fees at the school was $6,616. On top of their other funding sources, 3 students received scholarships through the Yellow Ribbon Program. Southern Nazarene University offers credit for military training for eligible students.
