In 2020-2021, 9,210 people earned their degree in health/medical prep programs, making the major the 104th most popular in the United States. In 2019-2020, health/medical prep programs graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $28,184 and had an average of $21,459 in loans still to pay off.

Across the Southeast region, there were 2,479 health/medical prep programs graduates with average earnings and debt of $31,182 and $18,481 respectively.

This year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in the Southeast Region for Medical Prep” ranking looked at 56 colleges that offer degrees in a bachelor’s in health/medical prep programs. This ranking identifies schools with high-quality health/medical prep programs programs as well as strong veteran support.
