Across Mississippi, there were 439 health/medical prep programs graduates with average earnings and debt of $18,110 and $8,764 respectively.

You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend Holmes Community College. It ranked #1 on our 2023 Most Veteran Friendly in Mississippi for Medical Prep list. Located in Goodman, Mississippi, this small public school awarded 259 diplomas to qualified ’s medical prep students in 2020-2021.
Holmes Community College also made our “[COLLEGE_QUALITY_NAME_ALL_LEVELS]” list, coming in at #[COLLEGE_QUALITY_RANK_ALL_LEVELS].Of the 5,409 students enrolled at Holmes Community College, 122 were GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data. Out of that number, 37 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average tuition and fees award for the Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients was $1,642. In addition to receiving other benefits, 0 students received funds through the Yellow Ribbon Program. Holmes Community College does offer credit for military training for eligible students.

Out of the 6 schools in the Most Veteran Friendly in Mississippi for Medical Prep that were part of this year’s ranking, East Mississippi Community College landed the #2 spot on the list. EMCC is a small school located in Scooba, Mississippi that handed out 78 ’s medical prep degrees in 2020-2021.
EMCC did well in our major quality rankings, too. Located in Clinton, Mississippi, this small private not-for-profit school handed out 10 degrees to qualified ’s medical prep students in 2020-2021.
MC also made our “[COLLEGE_QUALITY_NAME_ALL_LEVELS]” list, coming in at #[COLLEGE_QUALITY_RANK_ALL_LEVELS].Our most recent data shows that 171 of the 4,667 students enrolled at Mississippi College were GI Bill® students, of which 98 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average tuition and fees award for the Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients was $8,734. During this same period, 1 students received scholarships through the Yellow Ribbon Program.
The low undergrad student loan default rate of [DEFAULT_RATE_STRING]% is a good sign that students have an easier time paying off their loans than they might at other schools. For comparison, the national default rate is 10.1%.

This small school is located in Wesson, Mississippi, and it awarded 53 ’s medical prep degrees in 2020-2021.
