In 2019-2020, health/medical prep programs graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $28,184 and had an average of $21,459 in loans still to pay off.

Across Texas, there were 414 health/medical prep programs graduates with average earnings and debt of $22,025 and $15,741 respectively.

For this year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in Texas for Medical Prep” ranking, we looked at 13 colleges that offer a degree in health/medical prep programs. Not only do the schools that top this list have excellent health/medical prep programs programs, but they also offer a lot of support to veterans and active service members.

Out of the 13 schools in the Most Veteran Friendly in Texas for Medical Prep that were part of this year’s ranking, Baylor University landed the #5 spot on the list. Baylor is a large private not-for-profit school situated in Waco, Texas. It awarded 144 ’s medical prep degrees in 2020-2021.

As a testament to the quality of education offered at Baylor, the school also landed the #[COLLEGE_QUALITY_RANK_ALL_LEVELS] spot in our “[COLLEGE_QUALITY_NAME_ALL_LEVELS]” ranking.Our most recent data shows that 876 of the 19,297 students enrolled at Baylor University were GI Bill® students, of which 593 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients.
