Health Sciences & Services is the 34th most popular major in the country with 35,945 degrees awarded in 2020-2021. In 2019-2020, health sciences and services graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $35,887 and had an average of $24,736 in loans still to pay off.
Across the Great Lakes region, there were 2,948 health sciences and services graduates with average earnings and debt of $36,532 and $27,623 respectively. At the associate degree level specifically, there were 526 health sciences and services graduates with average earnings and debt of $36,077 and $19,490 respectively.
This year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in the Great Lakes Region for Health Science for an Associate” ranking analyzed 15 colleges that offered a degree in health sciences and services. Not only do the schools that top this list have excellent health sciences and services programs, but they also offer a lot of support to veterans and active service members.
