Not only do the schools that top this list have excellent nursing programs, but they also offer a lot of support to non-traditional students.

University of St Francis has taken the #1 spot in this year's nursing ranking for non-traditional students. University of Saint Francis is a small private not-for-profit school located in the suburb of Joliet. In addition to being on our bet for non-traditional students list, University of Saint Francis is in the top 20% of all schools on our Best Colleges for Nursing in the Great Lakes Region list.
The school has a low student loan default rate of 1.0%. 1,704 students at University of Saint Francis are exclusively online. About 1,980 of the students at University of Saint Francis are attending part time.
