Union University tops the 2021 list of our schools in Tennessee that are best for non-traditional nursing students. Union is a small private not-for-profit school located in the city of Jackson. As a testament to the quality of education offered at Union, the school also landed the #1 rank in our Best Colleges for Nursing in Tennessee ranking.
About 1.1% of Union students default on their loans in three years, which is lower than average. Approximately 690 students take at least one class online at Union. There are roughly 770 part time students in attendance at Union.

The #2 spot in this year's ranking belongs to Lincoln Memorial University. Located in the distant town of Harrogate, LMU is a private not-for-profit school with a moderately-sized student population. LMU also made our Best Colleges for Nursing in Tennessee list, coming in at #2.

Cumberland University landed the #4 spot in our 2021 best nursing schools for non-traditional students. CU is a small private not-for-profit school located in the fringe town of Lebanon.
The school has a low student loan default rate of 3.1%. About 655 of the students at CU are attending part time.

Belmont University comes in at #5 in this year's ranking. Belmont is a medium-sized private not-for-profit school located in the large city of Nashville. As a testament to the quality of education offered at Belmont, the school also landed the #3 rank in our Best Colleges for Nursing in Tennessee ranking.
