It’s not easy to decide which college to attend when there so many options available for veterans. Our “Most Veteran Friendly in Washington for Nursing for an Associate” ranking is part of that endeavor.
With 322,592 degrees handed out in 2020-2021, nursing is the 3rd most popular major in the United States. In 2019-2020, nursing graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $70,916 and had an average of $25,426 in loans still to pay off.
Across Washington, there were 3,851 nursing graduates with average earnings and debt of $75,342 and $20,069 respectively. At the associate degree level specifically, there were 1,825 nursing graduates with average earnings and debt of $41,435 and $16,352 respectively.
This year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in Washington for Nursing for an Associate” ranking looked at 24 colleges that offer degrees in a bachelor’s in nursing. This ranking identifies schools with high-quality nursing programs as well as strong veteran support.
