You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend University of Rhode Island. It ranked #1 on our 2023 Most Veteran Friendly in Rhode Island for Registered Nursing list. URI is a fairly large school located in Kingston, Rhode Island that handed out 349 ’s registered nursing degrees in 2020-2021.
In addition to being on our rhode island vets studying registered nursing list, URI has also earned the #[COLLEGE_QUALITY_RANK_ALL_LEVELS] rank in our “[COLLEGE_QUALITY_NAME_ALL_LEVELS]” ranking.Among the 17,649 students enrolled at University of Rhode Island, 381 are GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data. Out of that number, 187 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average Post-9/11 GI Bill® award for tuition and fees at the school was $10,022. In addition to receiving other benefits, 0 students qualified for the Yellow Ribbon Program. University of Rhode Island does offer credit for military training for eligible students.

Located in Newport, Rhode Island, this small private not-for-profit school awarded 79 degrees to qualified ’s registered nursing students in 2020-2021.
In addition to being on our rhode island vets studying registered nursing list, Salve Regina has also earned the #[COLLEGE_QUALITY_RANK_ALL_LEVELS] rank in our “[COLLEGE_QUALITY_NAME_ALL_LEVELS]” ranking.Our most recent data shows that 74 of the 2,771 students enrolled at Salve Regina University were GI Bill® students, of which 53 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average tuition and fees award for the Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients was $9,783. To help with additional expenses, 11 students received funds through the Yellow Ribbon Program. Salve Regina University offers credit for military training for eligible students.

Community College of Rhode Island is located in Warwick, Rhode Island and, has a fairly large student population. In 2020-2021, this school awarded 226 ’s registered nursing degrees to qualified students.
As a testament to the quality of education offered at CCRI, the school also landed the #[COLLEGE_QUALITY_RANK_ALL_LEVELS] spot in our “[COLLEGE_QUALITY_NAME_ALL_LEVELS]” ranking.Our most recent data shows that 408 of the 13,684 students enrolled at Community College of Rhode Island were GI Bill® students, of which 199 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. New England Tech is located in East Greenwich, Rhode Island and, has a small student population. In 2020-2021, this school awarded 193 ’s registered nursing degrees to qualified students.
