In 2020-2021, 20,393 people earned their degree in pharmacy/pharmaceutical sciences, making the major the 53rd most popular in the United States. In 2019-2020, pharmacy/pharmaceutical sciences graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $95,543 and had an average of $23,251 in loans still to pay off.

Across the Far Western US region, there were 2,654 pharmacy/pharmaceutical sciences graduates with average earnings and debt of $95,372 and $16,772 respectively.

For this year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in the Far Western US Region for Pharmacy” ranking, we looked at 18 colleges that offer a degree in pharmacy/pharmaceutical sciences. The schools that top this list are recognized because they have great pharmacy/pharmaceutical sciences programs and a strong support system for veterans and active service members.
