In 2020-2021, 20,393 people earned their degree in pharmacy/pharmaceutical sciences, making the major the 53rd most popular in the United States. In 2019-2020, pharmacy/pharmaceutical sciences graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $95,543 and had an average of $23,251 in loans still to pay off.

Across Pennsylvania, there were 1,353 pharmacy/pharmaceutical sciences graduates with average earnings and debt of $93,925 and $26,960 respectively.

For this year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in Pennsylvania for Pharmacy” ranking, we looked at 10 colleges that offer a degree in pharmacy/pharmaceutical sciences. This ranking identifies schools with high-quality pharmacy/pharmaceutical sciences programs as well as strong veteran support.

Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine ranked #6 on this year’s Most Veteran Friendly in Pennsylvania for Pharmacy list. Located in Erie, Pennsylvania, this small private not-for-profit school handed out 293 diplomas to qualified ’s pharmacy students in 2020-2021.
