Our “Most Veteran Friendly in the Great Lakes Region for Public Health Education and Promotion” ranking is part of that endeavor.
In 2020-2021, 4,563 people earned their degree in public health education and promotion, making the major the 165th most popular in the United States.
Across the Great Lakes region, there were 494 public health education and promotion graduates with average earnings and debt of $0 and $0 respectively.
For this year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in the Great Lakes Region for Public Health Education and Promotion” ranking, we looked at 12 colleges that offer a degree in public health education and promotion. Not only do the schools that top this list have excellent public health education and promotion programs, but they also offer a lot of support to veterans and active service members.

Located in Cincinnati, Ohio, this large public school awarded 65 diplomas to qualified ’s public health education and promotion students in 2020-2021.
UC did well in our major quality rankings, too. Central Michigan is located in Mount Pleasant, Michigan and, has a fairly large student population. In 2020-2021, this school awarded 22 ’s public health education and promotion degrees to qualified students.

University of Toledo not only placed well in this ranking. UM Dearborn is a medium-sized school located in Dearborn, Michigan that handed out 68 ’s public health education and promotion degrees in 2020-2021.

Milwaukee, Wisconsin is the setting for this small institution of higher learning. The private not-for-profit school handed out ’s public health education and promotion degrees to 4 students in 2020-2021.
Medical College of Wisconsin did well in our major quality rankings, too.
