In 2020-2021, 977,800 health professions students received their degree, making the major the 2nd most popular in the country. In 2019-2020, health professions graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $47,927 and had an average of $20,846 in loans still to pay off.
Across the New England region, there were 44,724 health professions graduates with average earnings and debt of $56,634 and $22,014 respectively.
This year’s “Best Value Health Professions Schools in the New England Region For Those Getting Aid” ranking analyzed 109 colleges that offered a degree in health professions. The schools that top this list are recognized because they have great health professions programs and cost less that schools of similar quality.
