Georgia Southern University has taken the #1 spot in this year's health professions ranking for non-traditional students. Located in the distant town of Statesboro, GaSou is a public school with a very large student population. GaSou did well in our major quality rankings, too. It placed #4 on our Best Colleges for Health Professions in Georgia list.
The student loan default rate at GaSou is lower than is typical, just 1.0% of students default in three years. Approximately 13,579 students take at least one class online at GaSou. 6,344 students are part time.

Brenau University earned the #2 spot in our 2021 rankings. Located in the small city of Gainesville, Brenau is a private not-for-profit school with a small student population. In addition to being on our best for non-traditional students list, Brenau has also earned the #9 rank in our Best Colleges for Health Professions in Georgia ranking.
The student loan default rate at Brenau is lower than is typical, just 1.9% of students default in three years. 1,153 of Brenau students are exclusively distance learners. About 934 of the students at Brenau are attending part time.
