Health Professions is one of the most popular majors in the nation, ranking 2nd of all the majors we analyze. In 2020-2021, 977,800 degrees were awarded to students with this major. In 2019-2020, health professions graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $47,927 and had an average of $20,846 in loans still to pay off.

Across the Southeast region, there were 250,124 health professions graduates with average earnings and debt of $44,702 and $20,498 respectively.

This year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in the Southeast Region for Health Professions for a Master’s” ranking analyzed 213 colleges that offered a degree in health professions. Not only do the schools that top this list have excellent health professions programs, but they also offer a lot of support to veterans and active service members.
