In 2020-2021, 977,800 health professions students received their degree, making the major the 2nd most popular in the country. In 2019-2020, health professions graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $47,927 and had an average of $20,846 in loans still to pay off.
Across Texas, there were 65,571 health professions graduates with average earnings and debt of $44,225 and $18,402 respectively.
For this year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in Texas for Health Professions” ranking, we looked at 104 colleges that offer a degree in health professions. Not only do the schools that top this list have excellent health professions programs, but they also offer a lot of support to veterans and active service members.
