Top 4 Best Legal Studies Colleges for Veterans in the Plains States Region
Out of the 4 schools in the Most Veteran Friendly in the Plains States Region for Legal Studies that were part of this year’s ranking, University of Kansas landed the #1 spot on the list. Lawrence, Kansas is the setting for this large institution of higher learning. The public school handed out ’s legal studies degrees to 15 students in 2020-2021.
KU did well in our major quality rankings, too. You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend Drake University. It ranked #2 on our 2023 Most Veteran Friendly in the Plains States Region for Legal Studies list. Located in Des Moines, Iowa, this small private not-for-profit school handed out 44 degrees to qualified ’s legal studies students in 2020-2021.
Drake also took the #[COLLEGE_QUALITY_RANK_ALL_LEVELS] spot in our “[COLLEGE_QUALITY_NAME_ALL_LEVELS]” ranking.According to our most recent data, Drake supports 4,774 students, and 100 of those are GI Bill® students, of which 61 are Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average tuition and fees award for the Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients was $12,780. During this same period, 11 students qualified for the Yellow Ribbon Program. Students may be able to receive credit for their military training, depending on their background.

Saint Paul, Minnesota is the setting for this small institution of higher learning. The private not-for-profit school handed out ’s legal studies degrees to 39 students in 2020-2021.

In addition to receiving other benefits, 17 students received scholarships through the Yellow Ribbon Program. Eligible students may be able to receive credit for their military training.
