It’s not easy to decide which college to attend when there so many options available for veterans. College Factual has developed its “Most Veteran Friendly in the New England Region for Law” ranking as one item you can use to help make this decision.
Law is the 28th most popular major in the country with 36,216 degrees awarded in 2020-2021. In 2019-2020, law graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $64,466 and had an average of $19,500 in loans still to pay off.
Across the New England region, there were 2,938 law graduates with average earnings and debt of $67,577 and $0 respectively.
This year’s “Most Veteran Friendly in the New England Region for Law” ranking looked at 10 colleges that offer degrees in a bachelor’s in law. This ranking identifies schools with high-quality law programs as well as strong veteran support.

You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend Suffolk University. It ranked #1 on our 2023 Most Veteran Friendly in the New England Region for Law list. This medium-sized school is located in Boston, Massachusetts, and it awarded 340 ’s law degrees in 2020-2021.
Suffolk also took the #[COLLEGE_QUALITY_RANK_ALL_LEVELS] spot in our “[COLLEGE_QUALITY_NAME_ALL_LEVELS]” ranking.Our most recent data shows that 54 of the 6,830 students enrolled at Suffolk University were GI Bill® students, of which 10 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. Out of the 10 schools in the Most Veteran Friendly in the New England Region for Law that were part of this year’s ranking, Quinnipiac University landed the #2 spot on the list. Located in Hamden, Connecticut, this medium-sized private not-for-profit school handed out 103 diplomas to qualified ’s law students in 2020-2021.
Quinnipiac did well in our major quality rankings, too. It placed #[COLLEGE_QUALITY_RANK_ALL_LEVELS] on our “[COLLEGE_QUALITY_NAME_ALL_LEVELS]” list.According to our most recent data, Quinnipiac supports 9,746 students, and 16 of those are GI Bill® students, of which 4 are Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients.
