Legal Professions is the 16th most popular major in the country with 61,055 degrees awarded in 2020-2021. In 2019-2020, legal professions graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $47,649 and had an average of $28,699 in loans still to pay off.
Across Oregon, there were 515 legal professions graduates with average earnings and debt of $48,668 and $22,896 respectively.

Top 2 Best Legal Professions Colleges for Veterans in Oregon
You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend University of Oregon. It ranked #1 on our 2023 Most Veteran Friendly in Oregon for Legal Professions list. University of Oregon is located in Eugene, Oregon and, has a large student population. In 2020-2021, this school awarded 132 ’s legal professions degrees to qualified students.
UO did well in our major quality rankings, too. It placed #[COLLEGE_QUALITY_RANK_ALL_LEVELS] on our “[COLLEGE_QUALITY_NAME_ALL_LEVELS]” list.Our most recent data shows that 582 of the 21,752 students enrolled at University of Oregon were GI Bill® students, of which 314 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average tuition and fees award for the Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients was $11,688. In addition to receiving other benefits, 25 students qualified for the Yellow Ribbon Program. University of Oregon does offer credit for military training for eligible students.

You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend Willamette University. It ranked #2 on our 2023 Most Veteran Friendly in Oregon for Legal Professions list. Located in Salem, Oregon, this small private not-for-profit school handed out 110 diplomas to qualified ’s legal professions students in 2020-2021.
Willamette also made our “[COLLEGE_QUALITY_NAME_ALL_LEVELS]” list, coming in at #[COLLEGE_QUALITY_RANK_ALL_LEVELS].Of the 1,866 students enrolled at Willamette, 38 were GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data. Out of that number, 21 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average Post-9/11 GI Bill® award for tuition and fees at the school was $22,172. To help with additional expenses, 15 students qualified for the Yellow Ribbon Program.
