You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend Idaho State University. It ranked #1 on our 2023 Most Veteran Friendly in Idaho for General Studies for an Associate list. This fairly large school is located in Pocatello, Idaho, and it awarded 152 associates’s general studies degrees in 2020-2021.
ISU not only placed well in this ranking. It is also #3 on our “Best General Studies Associate Degree Schools in Idaho” list.According to our most recent data, Idaho State University supports 11,766 students, and 422 of those are GI Bill® students, of which 221 are Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. Coeur d’Alene, Idaho is the setting for this small institution of higher learning. The public school handed out associates’s general studies degrees to 296 students in 2020-2021.
As a testament to the quality of education offered at NIC, the school also landed the #2 spot in our “Best General Studies Associate Degree Schools in Idaho” ranking.Our most recent data shows that 248 of the 4,737 students enrolled at NIC were GI Bill® students, of which 115 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average Post-9/11 GI Bill® award for tuition and fees at the school was $1,921. During this same period, 7 students received scholarships through the Yellow Ribbon Program. NIC offers credit for military training for eligible students.

The school came in at #3 for the Most Veteran Friendly in Idaho for General Studies for an Associate. Rexburg, Idaho is the setting for this large institution of higher learning. The private not-for-profit school handed out associates’s general studies degrees to 1,176 students in 2020-2021.
BYU - I also made our “Best General Studies Associate Degree Schools in Idaho” list, coming in at #1.Among the 44,481 students enrolled at Brigham Young University - Idaho, 471 are GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data. Out of that number, 200 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. The average Post-9/11 GI Bill® award for tuition and fees at the school was $2,677. In addition to receiving other benefits, 0 students received funds through the Yellow Ribbon Program. Eligible students may be able to receive credit for their military training.
