Humanities is the 37th most popular major in the country with 22,314 degrees awarded in 2020-2021.

At the associate degree level specifically, there were 19,961 humanities graduates with average earnings and debt of $35,806 and $19,336 respectively.

This year’s “Most Veteran Friendly for Humanities for an Associate” ranking looked at 77 colleges that offer degrees in a bachelor’s in humanities. The schools that top this list are recognized because they have great humanities programs and a strong support system for veterans and active service members.
