Across Pennsylvania, there were 3,648 liberal arts general studies graduates with average earnings and debt of $32,278 and $24,713 respectively. At the associate degree level specifically, there were 2,518 liberal arts general studies graduates with average earnings and debt of $35,360 and $19,957 respectively.

The schools that top this list are recognized because they have great liberal arts general studies programs and a strong support system for veterans and active service members.

You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend Eastern University. It ranked #1 on our 2023 Most Veteran Friendly in Pennsylvania for Liberal Arts for an Associate list. This small school is located in Saint Davids, Pennsylvania, and it awarded 52 associates’s liberal arts degrees in 2020-2021.

La Salle is a private not-for-profit institution located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The school has a small population, and it awarded 34 associates’s degrees in 2020-2021.
La Salle also made our “Best Liberal Arts General Studies Associate Degree Schools in Pennsylvania” list, coming in at #1.Of the 4,624 students enrolled at La Salle University, 84 were GI Bill® students, according to our most recent data.
