With 556,813 degrees handed out in 2020-2021, liberal arts general studies is the 1st most popular major in the United States. In 2019-2020, liberal arts general studies graduates who were awarded their degree in 2017-2019, earned an average of $28,337 and had an average of $17,430 in loans still to pay off.
Across Ohio, there were 11,803 liberal arts general studies graduates with average earnings and debt of $29,277 and $22,064 respectively. At the bachelor’s degree level specifically, there were 841 liberal arts general studies graduates with average earnings and debt of $39,341 and $26,852 respectively.
