You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend Georgia Southern University. It ranked #1 on our 2023 Most Veteran Friendly in Georgia for Liberal Arts for a Bachelor’s list. Georgia Southern University is a large school located in Statesboro, Georgia that handed out 199 bachelors’s liberal arts degrees in 2020-2021.

Out of the 7 schools in the Most Veteran Friendly in Georgia for Liberal Arts for a Bachelor’s that were part of this year’s ranking, University of North Georgia landed the #2 spot on the list. Dahlonega, Georgia is the setting for this fairly large institution of higher learning. The public school handed out bachelors’s liberal arts degrees to 61 students in 2020-2021.

Mercer is located in Macon, Georgia and, has a medium-sized student population. In 2020-2021, this school awarded 19 bachelors’s liberal arts degrees to qualified students.
Mercer did well in our major quality rankings, too. It placed #6 on our “Best Liberal Arts General Studies Bachelor’s Degree Schools in Georgia” list.Our most recent data shows that 15 of the 9,006 students enrolled at Mercer University were GI Bill® students, of which 11 were Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients. With a freshman retention rate of 87%, the school does an excellent job of retaining its undergraduate students.
